• You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 2 days prior to arrival.
• If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, Aarons Hotel Sydney will charge you one night's accommodation for each room that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

• Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.

It’s a cinch to get to Aarons no matter whether you’re coming by plane, train or automobile – we’re right in the middle of city and accessible by every means of local transport.

The easiest way to Aarons from the airport is the Airport Connect Shuttle Bus which will drop you off right at the Hotel doorstep! You can catch one from the shuttle bank at the airport ($14 per person) or you can pre book to experience VIP Service. Airport Connect can meet and greet you at your arrival gate and guide you through the airport before transporting you to Aarons Hotel Sydney in comfort. Perfect for families or those travelling in groups.
Alternatively, hop on a Green Line train from within the airport terminal and its just 10 minutes to Central Train Station ($15.00 one way). See the directions below on walking from Central to our Hotel.
In Sydney, all trains lead to Central Station. Once you’ve grabbed your bags, it’s just a short 5 minutes walk to Aarons Hotel Sydney:
Exit onto corner of Eddy Avenue and Pitt Street, Sydney.
Cross Pitt St at the traffic lights and walk down Rawson Place.
Turn right onto George St.
Turn left into Ultimo Rd.
Aarons Hotel is a block down on the left of Ultimo Rd, right opposite Paddy’s Markets.

By Bus:
If coming to the Hotel on a local bus, it’s easiest to stop on George St in the CBD. Ask the driver to let you off at the corner of George Street and Ultimo Road (the closest stop to Paddy’s Markets). From there it’s a 2 minutes walk down Ultimo Road, Aarons is on the left hand side opposite Paddy’s.
By Taxi:
Sydney’s cab drivers will all be familiar with Aaron’s central city location. A taxi from Sydney airport will run you around $25 and takes around 20 minutes, although it’s advised to plan for longer as CBD traffic can be very busy, especially in peak hour. Cabs carry a maximum of 4 people.

GETTING TO THE HOTEL
Location, location, location. That’s what they say, right? And they’re not wrong – Aarons Hotel Sydney is proof positive of that. Situated in happening Haymarket (right across the road from Paddy’s Markets), Aarons is literally in smack bang in the middle of Sydney’s entertainment, restaurant, and nightlife district – cultural attractions, events & facilities are right on your doorstep.

GETTING AROUND
Getting to and from Aarons, and indeed around town (for instance Darling Harbour, Chinatown, or the brilliant shopping in Central Business District), is a cinch with 5 modes of transportation all within a 2 minute walk of the hotel’s central location.
Monorail - You can’t miss the monorail – just look up. It runs 10 metres above the ground, around a loop of the City Centre and Darling Harbour. Great for a bird’s eye view of Sydney, it runs every 3-5 minutes up to 10pm on weeknights, and midnight on weekends.
Light-Rail - Sydney’s newest rail option. The Light-Rail runs from Central Station to the Casino, on to the Fish Markets, and then through the historical inner western suburbs of Sydney. It costs around the $5 mark depending on how far you’re traveling.
Train - Central Station. Carrying a vast majority of Sydney’s population about their daily business, the train lines are an easy way to get around. Central Station, as the name suggests, is the city’s largest and most historic station. It’s a hub for all suburban and interstate trains – all roads lead to, and from, Central, so it’s a given you’ll probably travel from here at some point during your stay.
Buses - Buses criss-cross the city at all hours day or night, and are a cheap and convenient way to get around – both inside the city, and out into the suburbs. Great if you want to explore Circular Quay and the rocks. Timetables are available at most bus stations or newsagents.
Taxi - Aarons Hotel has a direct booking line to a taxi company, so give Reception a call if you’d like to travel via cab. Sydney has loads of taxi’s you can hail on the street, but be aware of the 3am changeover time, when it can be difficult to get a fare.
Airport Shuttle - Sydney’s main airport, Charles Kingsford Smith, is a mere 8km away and van be reached easily by either taxi or train, but even easier is the Airport Shuttle Bus, which picks up and drops off at Aarons Hotel doorstep.

Sydney’s Famous Paddy’s Markets
Not 20m from Aarons doorway, Paddy’s is the biggest and best markets Sydney has to offer, and is… well, how do you describe an enormous old brick train station, hollowed out and bursting at the seams with 400 stalls - and growing every day. Get lost (we’re not joking – the place is huge!) amid a sea of everything and anything you can imagine, from fresh fruit and vegetables, to clothes, sheepskin, souvenirs, toys, CD’s, cosmetics, and a million other weird and wonderful items. Tailor made for shopping trips. With free entry, Paddy’s is open Thursday 10am – 6pm, and Friday to Sundays 9am – 4.30pm.
Sydney Harbour
Known internationally as the most beautiful harbour in the world, it’s not hard to see why Sydney Harbour is the city’s #1 tourist destination. Spanned by the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, heritage listed buildings and luxury mansions line the postcard blue water, and reserves and gardens are interspersed with restaurants, cafes and bars aplenty. There’s no better place to be out and about than Sydney Harbour on a sunny day, whether wandering, picnicking or taking a leisurely harbour cruise.
Taronga Zoo
Sprawled down the side of a gentle hill overlooking Sydney Harbour, and surrounded by natural bushland and the historic suburb of Mosman, Taronga Zoo is home to Australia’s most diverse collection of native and imported flora and fauna. No ordinary zoo, Taronga is famous for its spectacular water views, and overlooks Sydney Cove, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Featuring daily animal feedings and the newly installed Great Southern Oceans exhibit, there’s also a Zoo Safari Chairlift that traverses the zoo high overhead.
Darling Harbour
Sydney’s premier tourist and entertainment area, the Darling Harbour district is full to bursting with attractions. From the harbourside dock to the Sydney Convention and Exhibition centre, the Cockle Bay dining complex to the recreation reserve and art installations, there’s hours of fun to be had exploring Darling Harbour. An elevated monorail stops at intervals around the harbour, including Star City casino.
Manly Beach
One of Sydney’s most popular beaches, Manly is 25 mins drive from the city and packed full of attractions. Stretch out on the golden sands and tan with the beautiful locals, learn to surf at the surf school, or roller blade or walk along the beautiful promenade. Manly also has loads of restaurants, shops and cafes, and the Manly Oceanworld aquarium.
Blue Mountains
Just 2 hours from Sydney, the Blue Mountains are an experience not to be missed. Majestic landscape and natural surroundings are dotted with exciting restaurants, hidden health spa’s, and loads of other curiosities from café’s to waterfalls. Take in the fresh mountain air on a bushwalk, indulge yourself on a shopping tour, or enjoy a romantic escape at one of the many bed and breakfast retreats.
Chinatown
Right around the corner from Aarons Hotel, Chinatown is a hustling, bustling few blocks straight out of Shanghai. From the lantern-lined streets packed with vendors and entertainers, Chinatown never fails to disappoint the curious traveller. Shopping centre’s full to bursting with Asian boutiques and designer fashion vie with a plethora of yum cha restaurants and hidden food halls to surprise the adventurous. Grab some fresh Asian produce from the market grocers, or even better, visit during Chinese New Year to see the dragon dancers and take part in the celebrations.
Market City
Just an escalator ride above Paddy’s Markets, Market City is more a mini-city than a shopping centre – and it’s an easy way to while away a good couple of days. You’d never need to go anywhere else if you were of a mind, check out just some of the things it has to offer:

Sydney Aquarium
A singularly unique experience, Sydney Aquarium is situated on a pier overlooking Darling Harbour. And features a truly staggering array of weird, wonderful and dangerous (not that dangerous, of course) sea creatures – from stingrays to salt-water crocodiles, thousands of fish, loads of coral; all experienced through one-of-a-kind underwater walkways. And for the really brave, you can even swim with 3-metre grey nurse sharks.

The Quay’s many terminals’ are home to one of the best ways to see the harbour – by ferry. Ferries run throughout the day to Manly, Taronga Zoo, Fort Denison, and CockatooIsland, among many other places. There’s also a major bus terminus that services the city and Bondi Beach, and a train station that circles the city centre.
