• You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 7 days prior to arrival.
• If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, Great Northern Hotel Cairns will charge you one night's accommodation for each room that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

• Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.

The Great Northern Hotel is located in the city centre.
From the airport - a taxi will cost approximately $15.00 and take 10 minutes. A airport shuttle is $10.00 per person and will take about 30 minutes.
From the train station - we are situated 4 blocks away about a 10 minute walk.
From the long distance bus terminal - 2 blocks straight down Abbott Street.

At the Great Northern Hotel Cairns we can organise secure undercover parking - one block from the hotel for $7.00 per night.
Otherwise there metered parking in front of the hotel. Meters work 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 11.00am Saturday and free on Sunday and Public Holidays. Cost is $0.80 per hour for a maximum of 3 hours.
