Let your energy run free in the bush! Gumleaves is set in a bush holiday environment, and boasts many relaxing and entertaining attractions for all the family. It is centrally located at Little Swanport, 110 kilometres from Hobart and 175 kilometres from Launceston.

Take a rowboat on the lake or visit the museum and the blacksmiths shop and get an inkling of life as a pioneer. But you won't live like a pioneer in your own rural cabin, supplied with all linen and bedding provided and a wood heater for the cooler months. Evening meals are a breeze with the barbecues, and the children will have no trouble getting to sleep after days in the adventure playgrounds, on flying foxes, boating on the lake, mini golf or on the tennis court. The whole family can go bush walking, wildlife and deer spotting or fossicking for gemstones (you might strike it rich).

A range of accommodation options are available, including fully self contained two and three bedroom cabins, camping grounds, powered caravan sites and dormitory style rooms, ideal for groups. Each cabin can accommodate up to eight people and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, lounge, wood heater and all linen is provided. Each also has its own private barbecue area.

Gumleaves is also centrally located for visiting other East Coast attractions. Walk on white sunny beaches, visit Maria Island and Freycinet Nation Parks, Wielangta Rainforest, or see convict built 'Spiky Bridge'. A day trip can also take you fishing in the river or swimming in the sea.

Adventure Playgrounds
Full of exciting, physical activities such as flying foxes, cargo nets, tyre swings and giant see saws! Excellent Fun!

Mini-Golf
A nine hole course with clubs, balls and score cards are available free of charge from reception.

Pioneer Museum
Experience the delights of a by-gone era with a large display of pioneer morabilia. Admission to the museum is free to guests and day visitors.

Deer Park
The deer can be viewed from any point around the park, however the best views can be obtained from the viewing platform at the feeding area. Ask reception when feeding time is and come along and help.

Lake Mulga
Row boats and canoes are available free of charge for use on Lake Mulga. Life jackets are provided free of charge.

Children's Playground
Situated alongside Lake Mulga, this playground offers fun for younger children.

Gem Fossicking
Gem fossicking is excellent value with the opportunity to discover many colourful agates! But beware - allow plenty of time for the kids to fossick & we have found the only way they will leave is to be dragged away after an hour or so!

Challenge Courses
Various challenge activities have been created that are fun, physically and mentally challenging - excellent team building activities!

Bush Walking
We have several marked bush walking tracks that will take you all over Gumleaves' 400 acres of natural bushland

Tennis Court
A full sized tennis court available for general use - racquets and balls available from reception free of charge!

Gumleaves Bush Holidays's Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 2 days prior to arrival.
• If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, Gumleaves Bush Holidays will charge you one night's accommodation for each apartment that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

Not1Night’s Policy of Cancellations and Changes

• Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.
