The Westshore Beach Inn is a family owned and operated property just 50 metres from Westshore Beach (Napiers only safe swimming Beach), a short 5-minute drive to the downtown Art Deco district, Napier and 1km from the West Quay restaurant area. Access to link roads for all the wineries are just 150 metres down the road.

Recently "decorated" Bistro Chef Marty Clarkson leads a small team. We are past recepients of the "Hawkes Bay Signature Dish Best Service Award" and was "Runner up in the Casual Dish Category"!! Our well priced, premium local produce impressed the voters and judges.

HISTORY

The Westshore Hotel has been a resident of Westshore Beach community for approximately 180 years starting life as McKains Villers Accommodation House off the spit where a James McKain applied for a bush Licence to enable him to sell liquor at the House. The current Westshore Hotel can trace her roots back to this House whose licence was appeared in the “New Munster Gazette’ on 22 August 1851.

Through various gues and reincarnations as; Ahuriri, The Ferry, Ferryman’s, and latterly The Westshore. Its current location can be traced back to a fire in the then named Ferry Hotel at The Spit bridge.

The owners of The Ferry Hotel had to endure a lengthy court battle to keep the licence and to have the Hotel rebuilt. Eventually around 1925 the new Hotel was built at the junction of Meeanee Quay and Embankment Road and named The Westshore Hotel.

Westshore Beach Inn's Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 5 days prior to arrival.
• If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, Westshore Beach Inn will charge you one night's accommodation for each room that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

Not1Night’s Policy of Cancellations and Changes

• Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 NZD for online cancellations and $15.00 NZD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.

Car from South from Hastings; Look for Westshore turn off turnoff right AFTER Prebenson Drive, 100 metres on left.
