Although in the Tropics, the Townsville area is in a rain shadow which makes it the sunniest city on the Queensland coast ( Magnetic Island averages over 320 days of sunshine per year). Just twenty minutes by fast "Cat" across Cleveland Bay from Townsville, Magnetic Island is truly what many consider Paradise!

Set amongst lush sub-tropical landscaping and manicured lawns, the Resort adds a touch of luxury to its idyllic setting. Be entranced by the unique wildlife and enjoy a moonlit dinner of freshly caught seafood and tropical fruits on the terrace, while gazing over the pool and surrounding gardens. Relax by the pool with a cocktail or swim in the tranquil water of the nearby beach. Keep fit in the gym, enjoy a game of tennis on the day/night courts, or be amused in the games room.

All Seasons Magnetic Island provides the perfect vantage point to discover all the Island has to offer. The Resort is surrounded by cool, fragrant rainforest and within easy walking distance to sandy beaches and sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean. From the Resort guests can explore the Island's National Park with kilometres of walking tracks offering the perfect opportunity to see wildlife in their natural habitat and also enjoy the many spectacular views.

Accommodation at the Resort features open, breezy living areas with spacious patios overlooking tropical landscapes. All resort rooms have a table and chairs on the front veranda so that guests can enjoy the views of the tropical garden setting. Each room further features a kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, toaster, fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery, airconditioning and contain a table and chairs, ceiling fans, large ensuite bathroom with a hairdryer, direct dial telephone IDD and IS with internet access available in the reception area. For your television viewing, the resort receives the following channels: video, ABC, TEN, WIN, SEVEN and SBS. A program guide is provided in your room and it will also detail the in-house movies available plus the screening times for these. Fresh towels, extra tea, coffee, sugar and milk can all be obtained from reception while all rooms are serviced every second day. Pool towels are available for hire at $5.00 per towel.

The Resort has a fantastic, large pool with an adjoining toddler pool, tables and chairs and you can relax on pool lounges in the pool area.
Overlooking the pool is the terrace which leads into MacArthur’s Restaurant, the bar and function facilities. It is here that you’ll be able to feed the Blue Wing Kookaburras at 5.30pm every day. In the games room you’ll find the table tennis table. It is open between 8am and 8pm. Next to this is our new island style gymnasium. We have two tennis courts and for the children we have a jungle gym playground. The bar contains a pool table and a range of board games are available from Reception. (Tennis racquets and balls are available from reception. Snorkeling equipment is also available although a small charge applies for these).
