The small village of Medlow Bath is located 6 kilometres west of Katoomba, 107 kilometres from Sydney and 1050 metres above sea-level.
It would hardly be worth mentioning Medlow Bath if it wasn't for the gracious Hydro Majestic Hotel. At the outset of the 20th century, Sydney businessman Mark Foy developed the Hydro Majestic as a 'hydropathic establishment', utilising therapeutic methods from Europe. Behind the Hydro you will find some walking tracks including Blackheath Glen Nature Trail. You can also walk to Tuckers Lookout overlooking the Megalong Valley. Also located in Medlow Bath is the well preserved Gatekeepers cottage in the Blue Mountains.
A popular destination for tourist coming to the Blue Mountains, Medlow Bath also features a number of wonderful accommodation choices for visitors including budget motels, hotels, apartments and lodges.
