Northbridge, with its famous piazza and superscreen, Mount Lawley, Leederville and Subiaco have buzzing nightlife, or try Cottesloe or Scarborough for a more laid-back surfie vibe. Jump on a ferry to South Perth to take that world-famous snap of Perth's skyline, especially spectacular at night when the city's glittering skyline is reflected in the Swan River. Perth's famous Sunset Coast boasts over 80 kilometres of white sandy beaches, ideal for swimming and surfing.
Just 20 minutes from Perth City and 30 minutes from the Perth airport, Fremantle  is a vibrant tourist precinct, renowned throughout the world for its charm, hospitality, beautiful old colonial buildings and markets.
Rottnest Island is easily reached by fast ferry from Perth City or from Fremantle. First used as a penal settlement Rottnest has became a popular holiday resort with numerous colonies of  holiday apartments
Further afield is the world famous Margaret River, where surfers brave world-class waves while vignerons craft world-class wines, complemented by the gourmet food of the town restaurants.
