Gypsy Wagons;
Constructed with guidance from Heritage Victoria, the wagons are a unique reproduction of travelling gypsy wagons at the end 19th century. Follow through to the separate bedroom with "grandma's high bed" and richly decorated in velvet, laces and brocades. A full ensuite and reverse cycle air conditioning for your additional comfort. Please note-the wagons measure 8.5mx2.5m.
The Guesthouse.
Located on the first floor within the host's home, (but separate and with own private entry) the guesthouse comprises 2 interconnected double bedded ensuite rooms, each meticulously decorated in Australian wildflower hand painted furnishings. Each bedroom has its own balcony with views into the gardens below. A full kitchen is provided, with either the option of indoor (kitchen) or outdoor dining on one of the balconies, or in the water gardens below. The separate lounge has a fold down couch which can accommodate an extra person.
The Cottage
This self contained option is a 145 year old, fully restored classic Victorian timber cutters cottage. Enter through the richly decorated lounge/parlor with pressed metal high ceilings and original polished floors.. The large dining table in the adjoining room provides ample space for intimate or group dining whilst the newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen is a joy to "cook up a storm" in. The 3 bedrooms (2X4 bunk rooms plus small double), although not spacious are adequate for those accustomed to sharing. Finally, there are the newly restored bathrooms (2) and laundry before exiting in to your own private backyard with bar-b-que. The cottage is ideal for either large families or small groups on a budget. All linen supplied - self service of rooms.
Each of these guest accommodaton options are surrounded by gardens and murals and within walking distance to the river, historic port and town centre.
Please note;
