Gilligan’s Backpackers Hostel Hotel Resort Cairns offers a blend of traditional backpacker accommodation (with a few added comforts) plus 3.5 star hotel rooms - a variety of room types to suit the taste of all guests. All room types, including the Share Dorms, are fully equipped with a full private en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, wireless internet access and four floors of communal areas.
Available in 10, 8, 6 and 4 bed configurations, the deluxe dormitories are ideal for the budget conscious traveller, designed to offer that little bit extra, with comfy king-sized single beds, TV, refrigerator, wireless internet access and a private balcony to kick back and relax after a long day at the reef, rainforest or even a lazy day by the pool. The private en-suite bathroom can be used three ways (doors separating the shower, toilet and vanity) so there's none of the difficulties regularly experienced with too few communal facilities. There are also 6 Bed FEMALE ONLY Dorms.
For those seeking a bit more comfort and privacy, the Queen/Twin Hotel Rooms come complete with full private en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer, colour TV, DVD player, bar fridge, stereo, wireless internet access, hair-dryer, lounge, desk and some rooms have private balcony. Split over four floors, each floor has its own communal kitchen and newly refurbished TV, computer and breakout areas.
