Peppers Manor House is set on a beautiful Southern Highlands estate and provides an experience of life and leisure at one of Australia's grand country houses. Built in 1926, the house was originally home to the Katers, a pioneering grazing family, and has retained its original country charm. During winter, an open fire burns continually in the Great Hall and in summer meals are served in a leafy courtyard with drinks by the pool.

Featuring 43 elegantly appointed rooms and suites located in the main house, in the adjacent garden wing and in self-contained cottages, the retreat's accommodation is stylish, rich and full of character befitting its Southern Highlands location. All rooms feature TV, air-conditioning, in-room heating, refrigerator/mini bar, STD/ ISD phone systems with internet connections, hairdryer, complimentary bathroom amenities, video on demand, iron/ironing board and wireless internet connection.

The retreat offers the 18-hole championship Mount Broughton Golf Course and Country Club, tennis, boules, lawn bowls or be rejuvenated with a bushwalk or a gentle stroll around the beautiful gardens and cool of with a swim. Be pampered with the retreat's range of massage therapies and beauty treatments, or relax with a good book and a glass of wine in front of the open fire.

Onsite Katers Restaurant offers fine dining with modern Australian cuisine highlighting the freshest produce from the NSW Southern Highlands region. An award winning restaurant, with the Sydney Morning Herald good food guide awarding a Chef's Hat in 2009 and 2010.

The surrounding area has something for everyone, including horse riding, mountain biking, trout fishing, historic villages, antique shopping or winery tours. The Highlands area offers a delightful environment to seek antiques and rare books, arts and crafts, or that perfect escape in a National Park.

   Cancellation Policy

Peppers Manor House's Cancellation Policy
  • You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 14 days prior to arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, Peppers Manor House will charge you full amount of accommodation fee and your deposit will not be refunded.

Not1Night’s Policy of Cancellations and Changes
  • Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.



   Deposits Policy

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.  In addition, Peppers Manor House will charge your credit card the balance of the accommodation cost at the time of booking (please note – The Peppers Manor House charges a credit card surcharge of 2.0% to all credit card payments).


   Location

Peppers Manor House Southern Highlands is located approximately a one and a half hour drive southwest of Sydney, towards Canberra. Simply take the Mittagong exit, continue to Bowral, through to Moss Vale and the retreat is 4km south.  Google Map

Reception hours are from 8.30am until 5.00pm daily. If you need to arrive or depart outside of these times please contact reception to make the arrangements on the number supplied on your booking confirmation.

Please note that a non-refundable 2% surcharge applies for payments with Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club and American Express credit cards.

All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 years cannot provide current photo ID or proof of guardianship, if requested upon check-in.

Please note that this hotel requires a AUD $200 cash deposit or credit card pre-authorisation upon check in.

The region boasts differing landscapes ranging from rolling pasturelands to forested mountains and is home to picturesque towns, wondrous natural attractions, gracious and historic mansions, award winning restaurants and public buildings.

The Southern Highlands is a place to relax, escape, unwind and rejuvenate or even explore the many markets, antiques stores, book stores and speciality shops scattered throughout the towns.
Some of the best known natural attractions in the Southern Highlands include the spectacular Wombeyan Caves, Mount Gibraltar and the Fitzroy Falls.

Other notable features include the annual Tulip Festival held in Bowral, the historic jail at Berrima and the butterfly exhibition house at Mittagong.
