Tranquillity is key in this beautiful self contained accommodation - large picture windows overlooking the magnificent backdrop of Mt Avoca and the Pyrenees Range set the tone to recharge and unwind.
Completely separate is The Homestead overlooking the entire estate. Completely renovated, the founders original home offers space and luxury for families and groups. Situated on the highest point of the property, floor to ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the estate, vineyard and Pyrenees ranges. Relax in two large living areas in comfort and style.

While the emphasis is on luxury, eco luxe @ Mount Avoca reflects the vineyards' organic practices and environmental focus. The architecturally designed lodges employ passive heating and cooling and eco-friendly materials to minimise their carbon foot-print. Cladding is native Australian Cypress pine from managed plantations; floors are native spotted gum. Massive slabs of local bluestone form passive solar heat banks at the foot of the living and bed room windows. Each lodge has its own water tank and biological sewerage treatment.
Choose from the 1 Bedroom Eco Apartment Cabins ideal for couples and single, or the 5 Bedroom Homesteads - great for large families or friends on holiday. Stylish and comfortable, the generous living spaces open onto private balconies - a perfect spot to watch the sunset over the vineyard. Ideal for a couple, the 1 Bedroom architecturally designed Eco Apartment Cabin features a large living area with kitchenette opening onto large private balcony with views of the Pyrenees Ranges, vineyard and the hills and valleys of the region. Wall to wall windows offer postcard views from both the king-size bed-room and living room. A carefully selected library of books (many from the family's antique collection) graces the bookshelf. The luxuriously appointed king bedroom features beautiful linen and overlook vines, as do the travertine lined decadent private ensuite bathrooms that offer lush amenities, shower and SPA BATH. Floor to ceiling Italian stone envelopes this utterly relaxing space which shines with natural light - not to be missed or rushed. The polished spotted gum floor leads to the fully carpeted bedroom for the perfect end to the perfect day. All cabins have a beautiful balcony overlooking the hinterland and stunning surrounding views. FREE continental breakfast made with regional products from the Pyrenees area is served direct to your door every morning. The 5 Bedroom Homestead is the perfect home away from home for families or friends. Stylishly furnished with a mix of contemporary furniture and antiques, a brand new well equipped kitchen and expansive gardens will make you feel like the lord of the manor. Floor to ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the estate, vineyard and Pyrenees ranges.
Gourmet picnic hampers can be prepared. For guest convenience there is a FREE selection of DVDs. Barbecue facilities are also available outside the cabins and homestead. Baby cots and car parking are available FREE OF CHARGE.
Staying at the eco-luxe lodges means that you are well placed to explore the Pyrenees wineries from this idyllic spot, starting with Mount Avoca's sandstone tasting room. Enjoy a full tasting at the Cellar Door where you then can be pointed in the direction of the charming town of nearby Avoca or the neighbouring Grampians region, where majestic walking tracks, waterfalls and driving routes await. A relatively unexplored region, the Pyrenees has everything to suit the most discerning of tastes including wine, natural attractions, artistic endeavour or that quintessential relaxing pub culture. The intimacy of the area is clear when visiting any of the wineries with winemakers themselves often available to discuss their personal tastes with visitors. There are more than 30 cellar doors in the Pyrenees, each offering a unique experience. The Grampians is a short drive away and boasts a world famous National Park with lakes, rock-climbing and sensational walks as well as its own famous wineries. The Pyrenees artistic scene has been developing for many years and Antique shops add to the attraction. The Pyrenees State Forest offers waterfalls, lookouts, dense bush and open plains that can all be experienced in a number of different ways including walking, picnics, mountain bike riding and four wheel driving.

   Cancellation Policy

eco luxe @ Mount Avoca's Cancellation Policy
  • You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 14 days prior to arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, eco luxe @ Mount Avoca will charge you one night's accommodation for each apartment that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

Not1Night’s Policy of Cancellations and Changes
  • Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.



   Deposits Policy

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.


   Location

FROM MELBOURNE:
From Melbourne take the Western Freeway (direction Ballarat, Adelaide - the Ring Road or Monash & Westgate Bridge provides easy access).
From the CBD, make your way to the Westgate Bridge and take the Ring Road exit (4th exit after crossing the Westgate bridge). Follow the signs to Ballarat and the Western Highway.
Stay on the freeway until you see the exit for Avoca and Mildura (this is after several Ballarat exits).
Avoca is about 65kms (40 mins from the exit).
Once you get to Avoca, proceed halfway through the township until you see the signs to Mount Avoca on the left.
eco luxe @ Mount Avoca is about 8kms out of Avoca.

FROM THE AIRPORT
When leaving Tullamarine airport, head towards Melbourne.
The 2nd exit is the Western Ring Road.
There are two exits close together, take the second which goes west to the Western Highway and Ballarat / Geelong (M1).
Proceed along the Western Ring road until you see the Western Freeway / Ballarat signs, take this exit.
Stay on the freeway until you see the exit for Avoca and Mildura (this is after several Ballarat exits).
Avoca is about 65kms (40 mins from the exit).
Once you get to Avoca, proceed halfway through the township until you see the signs to Mount Avoca on the left.

FROM ANYWHERE ELSE
Avoca is at the cross-roads of central Victoria - literally.
The Sunraysia highway runs north-south between Ballarat and Mildura and the Pyrenees highway runs east-west, making access easy from anywhere in Victoria.
There are good touring routes from the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians back to the Pyrenees and also from the Goldfields: Daylesford, Castlemaine and Ballarat are only 45 mins away.  Google Map
