The Manna of Hahndorf is a 4-Star Motel in the historical town of Hahndorf. Located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills, only twenty minutes' drive from the CBD of Adelaide, Hahndorf is a heritage town with German roots and Australian charm. It is the perfect location for exploring the region and neighbouring areas such as the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The Manna of Hahndorf has 51 rooms. All our rooms feature a kitchenette, which includes a small fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle, and let's not forget the large flat-screen TV with 8 complimentary Foxtel channels. Off street car parking is of no extra charge and can be accessed from the Main Street.
We have a heated pool and spa at our sister property, The Hahndorf Motor Lodge, just 100 metres up the road. There are also BBQ facilities onsite with an outside dining area great for those hot summer nights.
We have our own restaurant called The Haus cafe+bar+kitchen which is across the road from the motel and serves from 7:30am until late. They are 'regional in focus, global in outlook, and local at heart'. Whether you are sitting in the morning sun eating breakfast, chatting with friends over tea and scones, or dining in the evening with a glass of Adelaide Hills wine The Haus cafe+bar+kitchen does nothing except delight and excite.
Hahndorf itself has so much to offer each individual from shopping to dining to hiking, or perhaps you could treat yourself to a wine tour to one of the many amazing Adelaide Hills wineries. Immerse yourself in the numerous wildlife parks and walking trails, try some locally made chesses or pick your own strawberries at the famous Beerenberg Farm. All of these and more are on your doorstep when you stay in Hahndorf.

Cancellation Policy

The Manna of Hahndorf's Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 3 days prior to arrival.
If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, The Manna of Hahndorf will charge you one night's accommodation for each room that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

Not1Night’s Policy of Cancellations and Changes

Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.

Deposits Policy

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.

Location

Travelling along the Southern Eastern Freeway from Adelaide take the exit for Hahndorf and go straight at the roundabout. Then just follow the road and you will enter the town, this is the 'Main Street' through Hahndorf. We are located closer to the other end of the town on the right-hand side of the road just past The Hahndorf Inn Hotel but before the IGA supermarket.
Travelling along the Southern Eastern Freeway from Murray Bridge take the exit for Mount Barker, turn right, and follow the signs to Hahndorf. The town of Hahndorf begins just as you pass the Beerenberg Strawberry Farm, and we are located on the left-hand side of the road not very far into the town centre. It is just past the IGA supermarket but before the Hahndorf Inn Hotel.

Check-In - Check-in begins at 2pm, if you wish to arrive earlier than 2pm an earlier check-in is not guaranteed as it will depend on the housekeeping schedule.

If you are unable to check-in before reception closing time please contact the reception office prior to your arrival to receive the after-hours check-in procedure.

Check-Out - Check-out is 10am. All late check-out requests are to be made on arrival as it will depend on our occupancy, not all requests are guaranteed.

Car Parking

The Manna of Hahndorf has off-street parking that can be accessed from the Main Street via a drive-way that has a blue parking sign labelled with a 'P'. It can also be access from Auricht Road at the back of the property which runs parallel to the Main Street.

Nearby Attractions

You can spend hours walking up and down the Main Street enjoying the quirky shops and heritage buildings, stopping to enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes and restaurants. Make sure you leave time to sample some of the many Adelaide Hills wines as there are many wineries to choose from. One of our favourite things to do is the Choco-Vino experience at Hahndorf Hill Winery, who would have thought chocolate and wine! If in season, ensure you go to Beerenberg Strawberry Farm just outside the town centre where you can pick your own strawberries and don't forget to take home some of their delicious jam.
We also recommend that you get out and about, whether you hire a bike or go for a walk, you should take an adventure and discover the natural side of the Adelaide Hills. Another place that you visit is Cleland Wildlife Park where you cuddle a Koala as well as many other Australian animals.
For art lovers try 'The Cedars' the home of Hahndorf artist Hans Heysen where you can view his work as well as that of his daughter and for car lovers head to Birdwood for the National Motor Museum and enrich yourself in the revving displays.
If you have more time to spare take a drive to one of nearby regions such as the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale or the Fleurieu Peninsula where you can experience another part of the fabulous South Australia.
