This is an individual apartment in the new and amazing 'Islington Silos' building, in a modern city precinct near the middle of Collingwood, and only a stones throw to Melbourne CBD and the Yarra River. This conversion of an historic silos building made a defining contribution to the transformation of the once industrial hub into arguably the most sought after and trendiest suburbs in Melbourne.

Originally a malt store built in 1878, this site was a former malt silo, servicing the surrounding breweries. It represented an early phase of industrial development in the area. The expansion of the malt store to include the adjoining silos mirrored the burgeoning brewing industry in Victoria at the time. Today the malt store and silos complex are prominent elements of the Islington St development.

   Cancellation Policy

Collingwood Central Silos's Cancellation Policy
  • If you cancel or reschedule your booking less than 45 days prior to the scheduled commencement of your stay, your deposit is not refundable if, after making all reasonable efforts to do so, we are unable to obtain an alternative booking of equal value. A minimum 20% of the total booking value cancellation fee plus associated credit card fees will apply to all cancellations or rescheduled bookings. If the booking has been made via a 3rd party booking agent, additional cancellation fees may apply to cover any commissions paid. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance to cover you in the event of an unforeseeable cancellation.

  • Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.



   Deposits Policy

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking. A further 40% deposit is required 45 days prior to arrival, with the balance due 10 days prior to arrival. The last two amounts, as well as the security deposit, will need to be paid directly to the accommodation provider.

Getting There
If you drive and leave your car unattended on the street whilst getting the keys, you may be booked for not having a council parking permit, so make sure you put at least a small amount of money in the ticket machine, and place the ticket on your dashboard. Getting Around
Getting around is easy. There are so many shops, cafes, restaurants etc nearby that you can walk to them. In addition the trams and buses are only 200m away on Victoria Parade and there are two train stations within 400m.  Google Map

Guest Interaction
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Check in
On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to:
* provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
* provide the matching photo ID
* sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.
Please ask us about this if it may not be possible.

SECURITY BOND
We require a minimum security bond of $900, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used may need to be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified may not be accepted, and any payments made may not be honoured. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
