   Cancellation Policy

CityViews Southbank's Cancellation Policy
  • If you cancel or reschedule your booking less than 45 days prior to the scheduled commencement of your stay, your deposit is not refundable if, after making all reasonable efforts to do so, we are unable to obtain an alternative booking of equal value. A minimum 20% of the total booking value cancellation fee plus associated credit card fees will apply to all cancellations or rescheduled bookings. If the booking has been made via a 3rd party booking agent, additional cancellation fees may apply to cover any commissions paid. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance to cover you in the event of an unforeseeable cancellation.

  • Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.



   Deposits Policy

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking. A further 40% deposit is required 45 days prior to arrival, with the balance due 10 days prior to arrival. The last two amounts, as well as the security deposit, will need to be paid directly to the accommodation provider.


   Location

The address is 180 City Road, Southbank, and it has a Walk Score of 84 out of 100. It is a Walker's Paradise, so daily errands do not require a car. Cityside is a three minute walk from the 58 West Coburg - Toorak tram at the 115-Casino/Southbank/Queens Bridge St (Southbank) stop. Nearby parks include Enterprize Park, Batman Park and Sturt Street Reserve.

This extra large stunner is in an unbeatable location for a city stay. Located less than 10 minutes walk across the river to Melbourne CBD, and a short walk to the nearby St Kilda Road Arts Precinct, it is also very close to the Casino, and the Southbank Promenade along the river, with its award-winning restaurants, cafes and fashionable shops.

Getting There
The easiest way to get to Cityviews from anywhere is to get a taxi, Uber or Ola ride; including from Tullamarine Airport. Alternative transport from the airport is also relatively easy; take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then ask for the SkyBus Link which has eight convenient stops around Melbourne's city centre. Ask to be taken to Melbourne Short Stays in City Road Southbank, which is just down the road from 180 City Road, where Cityviews is located. If this is not an option, from the station, take the No. 12 tram from further down Spencer St, (just past Bourke St), and get off three stops later at City Road. Walk back to City Road, turn right, and 180 City Road is about 600m away on the left, before Power St.

Getting Around
There is a bus and tram stop around the corner on Queensbridge St, and it's easy to walk to nearly every major attraction in the city. Most of them are nearby. You can easily keep walking into the CBD or you can walk via Southbank Boulevard to the Arts Precinct ans St Kilda Road.  Google Map

Guest Interaction
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Check in
On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to:
* provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
* provide the matching photo ID
* sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.
Please ask us about this if it may not be possible.

SECURITY BOND
We require a minimum security bond of $900, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used may need to be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified may not be accepted, and any payments made may not be honoured. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.

Cityviews is so close to so many things of interest. Here are just a few examples of local attractions which are an easy walk or a very quick tram ride away:

Southbank and Southgate Promenade shops, restaurants and cafes; right on the river

Southbank to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne or South Yarra - great for walking, jogging, bike riding or rollerblading. Southbank promenade forms part of the Capital City Bicycle Trail, which circles the Melbourne city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs. A popular starting point for the trail is at Princes Bridge near Flinders Street Station. Bikes can be hired near the boathouses east of the bridge.

The Yarra River is a great way to see the city and hear about its history. The river cruises show you and tell you so much about the city.
