The Escarpment Retreat and Day Spa, Mt Tamborine (formerly the Escarpment Villa Apartments Retreat), offers 5 star, luxury accommodation with private villas, located at the southern end of the renowned Mount Tamborine area on a pristine, tranquil, heritage mountain property just 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 60 minutes from the Queensland capital city of Brisbane.
Set on four acres of botanic gardens with panoramic cliff views as far as the sea, in the foothills of Tamborine Mountain, the Escarpment Retreat and Day Spa, is the perfect base to explore the the Beaudesert Shire and Wineries. Discover the wineries, national parks and waterfalls, rainforests and bush walking trails. Visit the country markets, follow the antique trail or take a short drive to Tamborine Mountain. During your stay sample fabulous local wines, boutique cheesemakers, the famous Mt. Tamborine fudge or just relax wandering through our local art galleries and cafes. Take a walk in our scenic rainforests walks or have a swing in our local golf course or tennis courts. If you are feeling a little more adventurous then perhaps horse riding through the forest. And if you want to wind the adrenalin up to maximum then hang-gliding is for you. Local markets are a must as are the stunning local restaurants, coffee plantation, lavender farm and distillery.
The luxury villas are designed to provide space, privacy and comfort with private deck with outdoor setting to soak up the breathtaking scenery. Comfortable bedroom with four poster bed with Antique solid timber bed side drawers, elegant bed side lamps, clock radio, and luggage rack. Bathroom complete with double spa bath, toilet, hair dryer and complimentary bathroom amenities. Kitchenette that includes Granite bench tops, Fisher Paykel bar fridge (fully stocked mini bar), tea/coffee making facilities, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, cutlery and an emergency torch (complimentary microwave and toaster is available from reception, upon request)
Dining area that includes circular solid antique cedar table, 2 dining chairs and place mats and sunken lounge that includes large oversized 2 ½ seater sofa with scrolled arms and feather filled cushions. Persian rug and antique coffee table, chiffonier cupboard housing flat screen television, DVD and CD player, five speaker surround sound system, log fireplace (pre-set) and stocked fire wood bucket (Please note that the fire is set every day by housekeeping staff) and iron/ironing equipment. Enjoy daily cooked breakfast during your stay and for dinner enjoy a romantic dinner for 2 in-house delivered direct to your front door. Bookings are essential.

Escarpment Retreat and Day Spa's Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 14 days prior to arrival.
• If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, Escarpment Retreat and Day Spa will charge you one night's accommodation for each apartment that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

Not1Night’s Policy of Cancellations and Changes

• Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.  In addition, Escarpment Retreat and Day Spa will charge your credit card the cost of one night accommodation per room booked as deposit.

Brisbane Airport - approximately 60 minutes by motorway. Follow Pacific Highway 1 south to Oxenford. Take exit 57 just past DreamWorld and follow the signs to Mount Tamborine on the Tamborine-Oxenford Road. Once you reach Eagle Heights, turn right at the roundabout into Gallery Walk. Continue past the next roundabout where the road changes names and becomes Long Road. Continue along this Road and turn right at Lahey Road. Proceed along that short road where you will reach the Main Western Road. Turn left and follow this road around. It turns into Alpine Terrace. The Escarpment is located at 123 Alpine Terrace, on the round-about, just past St. Bernards Hotel

Coolangatta Airport - approximately 45 minutes by motorway. Follow Pacific Highway 1 north to Nerang. Take exit labelled 'Mountain Resorts/Beaudesert Road' from Nerang which leads onto the Beaudesert-Nerang Road. Take the right hand turn signposted to Mount Tamborine onto Henry Roberts Drive. Follow this road up the steep hill, past the golf club until you come to a T-junction at the corner of Siganto Street and Prospect Street. Turn right, and the property is located at the first round-about, 123 Alpine Terrace.  Google Map

Reception hours are 8AM - 5:30PM. Please contact the property on the number supplied on your booking confirmation if you are be arriving after hours so that alternative arrangements for key collection can be made.

Please note that for cancellations greater than 14 days prior to arrival - 50% of the deposit will be charged from Escarpment as well as Not1Night fee.
14 days or less - 100% of deposit will be charged from Escarpment as well as Not1Night fee.
