Visit some of the nearby towns including Chaffey Dam, Manilla, Barraba, Bendemeer and the historic village of Nundle. Swim, fish, walk and canoe the Warrabah National Park. For those who have their own caravan we have drive-thru sites close to the amenities or sites near the river for longer caravan stays and camping. Dogs are allowed on the riverside sites. There is even an exercise area provided for them.
The cabin accommodation caters for all budgets from standard cabins using the amenities closeby through to luxury ensuite cabins. The ensuite cabins range from budget open plan cabins through to luxury two bedroom cabins. The deluxe ensuite cabins have bedding provided and some even have a dishwasher. There is also a wheelchair friendly cabin for the mobility impaired.
The 2 Bedroom Cabins all of which are comfortable, non smoking and fully self contained apartments with reverse cycle heating and air-conditioning, ceiling fans, 2 seperate bedrooms with a selection of bedding options, private bathroom with bath, separate shower and toilet, a separate living area with lounge suite, dining table and chairs, flat-screen LCD TV, DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen with 2 burner stove top, full size fridge, toaster, microwave and electric fry-pan, tea/coffee making facilities and iron/ironing board. All linen and towels are provided.
The Tamworth Austin Tourist Park offer a range of guest facilities and services including an outdoor swimming pool, toddler wading pool, childrens playground, several covered BBQs, 7 day reception, tourist information and maps, public phone, fax facilities, family bathroom with toilet, baby bath and full size bath, three amenities blocks, coin laundry with 3 washing machines and 2 dryers, ironing facilities, dump point and FREE onsite car parking. Your car will be safely parked beside your cabin, invisible from the main road. There is esy access for coaches and large motorhomes with a large turn-around area and parking. There is a service station and mini-mart opposite the Park for basic grocery lines.
