Stockman's Restaurant, is located on our ground floor. Like much of The Old Woolstore, our restaurant represents an innovative example of how an older style building can be given a stylish, contemporary identity.
Specialising in Tasmanian inspired cuisine, Stockman's provides a range of affordable meals and is open seven days a week during the following hours:
Breakfast between 6.30am and 10am
Dinner between 6pm and 9.30pm.

Specialising in fine Tasmanian beer and wine, where the cooler climate varieties excel, the Baaa Bar's blend of old world and contemporary surround is the ideal place to sit back and enjoy a relaxing drink at the end of the day. We have a cocktail list and a wide range of other beers and soft drinks available.

Conference Rooms
The Woolstore Theatrette (84m2) is a state-of-the-art, 100 seat room featuring tiered Sebel Encore seating with swing pallet. A ceiling mounted data projector enables the latest in audio visual presentations via a control panel situated on the lectern. This climate controlled room is limited only by your imagination.
The Roberts Boardroom (36m2) is a 16-seat, dedicated boardroom featuring comfortable high back seating, broadband internet access together with several phone ports. Natural light and air conditioning enable you to hold meetings in a private and relaxed atmosphere. Power point presentations can be displayed through a ceiling mounted data projector.

The Merino Room (218m2) in its entirety is able to cater for dinners up to 160, cocktail parties of 200 and can be fitted with a dance floor. The Merino Room features its own private serviced bar area, access for vehicles and fixtures for decorating or theming. Audio visual capabilities are unlimited with dual ceiling mounted data projectors, which include DVD, VCR and power point facilities.
This room has the flexibility of being divided in half by a soundproof concertina door creating the ½ Merino and Shearers Rooms (116m2 each). Once divided, each of these rooms can hold 90 delegates for a cocktail party, 50 for dinners and 30 in conference style seating.

The Drovers Boardroom (48m2) is a multi-functional room catering for meetings from small groups of 5 to 20 delegates. This boardroom is also ideally suitable for use as a break out / secretariat room. All audio visual requirements can be catered for.
The Macarthur Boardroom (38m2) is another multi-functional room which can cater for groups up to 20 in a board meeting, or used as a break out room from the Roberts Boardroom (situated opposite). With natural lighting, the Macarthur Room promotes the perfect surrounding for intimate cocktail parties for groups of 5 to 30.
The Guest Meeting Office is available free of charge to any guest using our facilities and comfortably seats 4 people. There are fax, phone and internet capabilities in the room and catering can be arranged at a cost.

Check in is available from 2pm at the property. Every effort will be made to ensure that your room is available on arrival, however, there are times due to circumstances beyond our control that this may not be possible.
We have 140 complimentary car parks on-site. We do however, have 242 rooms, so at peak periods parking can be difficult. When no parking is available on-site, we offer complimentary parking at a secure multi level car park just two minutes walk from Reception. We also employ a parking supervisor to ensure only house guests are parking on our property.
