The Fiordland Hotel-Motel Resort is a 3.5 star resort, situated on four acres of parkland overlooking Te Anau, in a tranquil garden setting. Every room has a picturesque, panoramic, million dollar view of the lake, mountains and the rural landscape, yet it is only an easy walking distance to the shores of Lake Te Anau and the Te Anau town centre. he Fiordland Hotel-Motel Resort provides 94 rooms offering a wide range of accommodation to suit every budget. From the Budget Motel Rooms, to the De Luxe Regency Rooms, all motel and hotel guest accommodation includes colour TV, sky TV, in-house movies (fee applies), private en suite bathroom with bath and shower, direct dial phone, tea, coffee and biscuits. The Motel Studio Units all have full cooking facilities; while the Budget Motel units do not, although a communal kitchen is available, or guests are welcome to dine in the Hotel Restaurants. All guest rooms are tastefully decorated and presented in a ?house-proud? condition. At the Fiordland Hotel-Motel, we provide ?A room for all needs!? Features of the Fiordland Hotel and Motel include 2 Restaurants with a total seating capacity of 150 people, a fully licensed House Bar that caters for the Restaurant, a public bar with pool table, jukebox and casino, a multi-function centre to cater for large functions, from birthdays to weddings to business conferences with seating. The Hotel also has a solar heated swimming pool complex with spa pools, a large gas Barbecue and a fenced children?s play area adjacent to the complex. Other outdoor activities available are horse riding, farm visits, trout fishing, hunting, sailing, kayaking, scenic helicopter or airplane/floatplane flights and the attractive 18 hole Te Anau Golf Course.
